Job Description
- Provide administrative support to the estimating team, including formatting proposals, maintaining databases, and managing tender documentation,
- Assist with light estimating tasks such as basic quantity take-offs and preparing preliminary cost information
- Organize and track tender submissions, project files, and related correspondence
- Coordinate and collect information from third-party vendors and suppliers as directed by estimators
- Review drawings and specifications to extract relevant details for team review
- Support the team by ensuring deadlines are traced and submissions are accurate and timely
- Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures
- Valid Class 5 license and reliable transportation
- Available to work Monday - Friday, occasional Saturday
- Minimum 40 hours per week, must be flexible and willing to work overtime
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and administrative skills, with keen attention to detail
- Attentive to detail, organized, and able to meet deadlines under pressure is a must
- Proficient in both verbal and written English communication
- Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently when required
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think outside the box
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Local or willing to relocate to Central Alberta
- Previous administrative or coordinator experience in a construction-related environment
- Ability to read and interpret basic construction drawings and specifications
- Familiarity with construction terms and processes
- An understanding of precast concrete
- Basic knowledge of Autodesk software (Revit, AutoCAD)
