As a People & Culture Coordinator, you are a valued member of the People & Culture team, acting as an ambassador to employees across E INC. The People & Culture Coordinator will be responsible for ongoing HRIS system administration, employee file maintenance, policy interpretation, employee relations assistance, and support of larger People & Culture projects.

Schedule: Monday - Friday. This is a hybrid role, based out of our beautiful Downtown Toronto office 1-2 days per week.
What You Will Do:
- Serve as the first point of contact for employee and manager inquiries and triage the People & Culture department inbox.
- Responsible for new hire onboarding, including the verification of employment eligibility, completion of I-9 forms, sending new hire communications, and ensuring all new hire information in our Rippling HRIS system is accurate and compliant with employment laws.
- Responsible for the offboarding process of all terminated employees, including the preparation of final termination paperwork, conducting exit interviews, and coordinating with our Payroll, Benefits, and IT teams to ensure offboarding procedures are carried out and compliant with applicable laws.
- Process employee changes, including the preparation of status change forms and letters (wage and position changes, benefits changes, leaves, transfers, returns, etc.) and processing them in our HRIS system.
- Maintain employee records, ensuring data accuracy and integrity, through self-audits, reports, and internal controls.
- Provide user support for employees navigating our HRIS system, responding to inquiries, troubleshooting, and completing account recoveries.
- Support engagement committee initiatives, enhancing company culture, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, promoting open communication, and encouraging involvement in company initiatives.
- Support the monthly benefit billing reconciliation process.
- Other duties as assigned, including reporting and monitoring worker’s compensation claims; responding to UI/Disability Claims; completing verification of employment requests; communicating with vendors; reporting; and employment poster compliance.
What You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent, relevant work experience.
- 1+ years of progressive experience in Human Resources, including solid experience working with benefits and leave management.
- Experience utilizing HCM/HRIS systems, preferably Rippling.
- Experience with Google Suite (Gmail, Google Drive, Google Calendar, Google Docs, and Google Sheets), Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office (Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Powerpoint).
- Experience organizing and prioritizing work, taking initiative, resolving problems, and managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to build strong, positive relationships with external and internal contacts.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interpret and apply company policies and procedures.
- Maintain confidentiality and appropriately handle sensitive information with tact and discretion.
- Languages: English (required), French (an asset)

At E INC, in the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share our base pay as it is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this full-time position is $60,000.00 - $70,000.00, and this role may be eligible for discretionary bonuses or commission payments. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition, our ranges are determined by role, level, and location.
