Your Opportunity with us:
We are looking for an ambitious and talented profile to join our Marketing team as Assistant Brand Manager, located at our office in Toronto (Canada).
Role Mission:
Support the Marketing team in the development and execution of strategic brand initiatives. Coordinate cross-functional teams and agency partners to ensure efficient implementation of brand plans while analysing data and generating insights that contribute to achieving business objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Extract and analyse internal and external data (e.g., Nielsen, Kantar, ISCAM) to support decision-making and reporting.
- Monitor consumer trends and competitive activities to identify opportunities and risks for the brand.
- Track and evaluate the performance of promotional initiatives, measuring ROI and alignment with brand strategy.
- Ensure seamless coordination between marketing, and commercial teams for proper implementation of campaigns.
- Manage product data submissions and updates through GS1 Canada, ensuring accuracy and compliance with retailer requirements.
- Manage relationships internal and external with marketing agencies (creative, digital, media, PR) and ensure alignment with brand strategies.
- Prepare brand presentations, performance reports, and marketing briefs.
- Take ownership of end-to-end projects, overseen by the Senior Marketing Manager, ensuring initiatives ladder up to the overall portfolio strategy (including innovation development, brand campaigns, and go-to-market execution).
- Collaborate with global teams to localise and implement global marketing initiatives.
- Support marketing budget management and execution of administrative tasks (e.g., supplier follow-up, purchase orders).
Skills:
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business or related field.
- Postgraduate qualification in Marketing is a plus.
Experience
- 1-2 years of experience in Marketing or Trade Marketing.
- Experience using GS1 Canada for product data management and submissions is an asset.
- Experience with syndicated data tools (Nielsen, Kantar) is preferred.
- Hands-on experience with digital campaign execution is desirable.
- Proven ability to work with diverse data sources and deliver business-relevant insights.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is considered an asset.
