AWS/CES is looking for a Maintenance Manager for our automotive manufacturing client in Kitchener, ON
Production Supervisor – Maintenance Manager
Location: Kitchener
Compensation: 125K to 135K annually
Join us as a Maintenance Manager! As a Manager, you are responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Maintenance Department across multiple locations. You are expected to carry out your duties in a professional and effective manner, ensuring high productivity in a safe, efficient, and cost-effective way.
What you’ll be doing:
- Plan, organize and direct all aspects of the Maintenance departments.
- Work with the Supervisor and Safety Specialist to ensure appropriate training.
- Responsible for all mechanical inspection documentation on existing and new equipment.
- Supervise and coordinate installation, repair and inspection of equipment.
- Maintain a documented weekly summary of completed work.
- Ensure all mechanical drawings and electrical drawings are complete and up-to-date
- Maintain a monthly work schedule of upcoming and uncompleted jobs that will be shared
with all departments.
Requirements:
- Have relevant qualification (minimum trade or possible Associate Diploma).
- Five years of Managerial experience in a production maintenance environment.
- Knowledge of applicable mechanical codes, standards and regulations.
- Strong MS Office skills are required.
