Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process, prepare, and package prescriptions using pharmacy systems.
- Support day-to-day operations in our centralized prescription fulfillment center.
- Maintain inventory control and manage medication stock levels.
- Report discrepancies and assist in regular inventory audits.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal protocols.
- Coordinate with pharmacists and support staff for timely medication delivery.
- Uphold patient confidentiality and project a positive company image.
- Perform daily quality assurance and safety checks.
- Receive, process, and manage new and repeat prescription orders.
- Adjudicate third-party billing (online and manual), and manage Third-Party Accounts,Adjudication
- Coordinating with the Doctors over call/Mail
- Handle incoming calls, faxes, and refer inquiries to pharmacists as required.
- Assist pharmacists with call-backs and complete documentation accurately.
- Support prescription workflow, including data entry, refill processing, and labelling.
- High School Diploma required.
- Diploma from a Pharmacy Assistant accredited program preferred.
- Previous experience in a pharmacy setting strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Comfortable working independently and as part of a collaborative team
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Proficiency in pharmacy systems and understanding of third-party billing processes.
- Proficiency with Kroll
- Willing to work on Weekends
