Company Introduction: T&T Supermarket Inc. was founded in 1993 with two stores in BC. Since then, it has expanded rapidly and is now Canada’s largest Asian supermarket chain with 37 stores across the country: 14 in BC, 7 in Alberta, 14 in Ontario, and 2 in Quebec. The Company’s continuous expansion is going to bring more new stores in the next couple of years.


The Role: We’re looking for a Marketing Specialist specializing in Digital Ads and Social Media to develop and execute communication strategies across social platforms and paid media channels. This role will focus on promoting sales events, launching new products, and managing communications and community initiatives
  • Major Responsibilities: Work with the internal marketing team, cross-department, and external agencies to develop comprehensive marketing campaign plans and content strategies, encompassing all stages from planning, execution, optimization, to reporting.
  • Develop and implement owned and paid media strategies across platforms including Google Ads, Meta, WeChat, Rednote, and others. Ensure campaigns are aligned with business objectives and budget, while optimizing for reach, engagement, and ROI. This includes planning, execution, monitoring performance metrics, and adjusting strategies to maximize effectiveness.
  • Create compelling content with strong storytelling skills, able to convey product selling points through imagery, video, and copy. Responsible for ad copywriting across platforms such as Meta, Google, WeChat, and Rednote.
  • Foster relations and liaise with media partners, influencers, associations and partners, handle requests for interviews, industry events, sponsorships, and community engagements.
  • Stay on top of marketing trends, share consumer insights and new ideas proactively, and monitor competitor activities to keep strategies innovative and competitive.
  • Manage the execution and coordination of all events, including but not limited to budgets, schedules, contracts, and other related activities to complete event deliverables.

  • Knowledge, Skills and Ability Requirements: 2 – 4 years’ experience in Marketing. Post graduate certificate or university degree in Media, Communications, or Public Relations is an asset.
  • Highly organized, resourceful, and responsive to short-notice needs, with strong attention to detail and well-developed analytical skills.
  • Strong writing skills, with an ability to write for different audiences, including external and internal.
  • Confident with an ability to manage and prioritize many projects at the same time and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent command of English (written and spoken). Proficiency in Chinese (Mandarin/Cantonese) is an asset.
  • Ability to work independently, problem solving and strong interpersonal skills.
  • A vehicle and a valid driver’s license is needed.
  • Existing relationships with key Canadian food, consumer, lifestyle and business media are an asset
