The Member Engagement Advisor is responsible for the oversight and ultimate execution of a variety of CPA Alberta’s Member Engagement initiatives including but not limited to the Volunteer Tax Clinic, Chapter support, Peer-to-Peer round tables, the Jumpstart Series, Financial Literacy, and various volunteer opportunities. This role reports to the Manager, Member Engagement.
Please note this is a 12-month contract position to cover a maternity leave.
CPA Alberta has offices in Edmonton and Calgary and provides hybrid Telecommuting opportunities (working from home a maximum of 3 days a week).

What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in business, human services or other related discipline is an asset.
- 3 - 5 years related experience in community and/or stakeholder engagement.
- Experience developing collaborative relationships would be an asset.
- An understanding of stakeholder/community engagement theory.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize multiple deadlines and stay organized.
- Proficiency working with Microsoft Office software—including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
- Coordinate CPA Alberta’s Volunteer Tax Clinic Program, Financial Literacy Program, and Volunteer Management Framework.
- Design and implement administrative systems and procedures for managing engagement activities and performing necessary support duties.
- Act as a primary point of contact between Chapters and CPA Alberta and contribute to Chapter Executive meetings and events.
- Manage the development of member engagement steering committees, peer-to-peer round tables, and ad hoc focus groups.
- Contribute to the development of Board KPIs and key operational indicators for member engagement activities.
- Cultivate positive, long-term relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Keep up to date on trends, issues, and guidelines regarding member engagement activities.
- Develop resources, including articles related to member engagement programs and initiatives.

Working Specifications
