As Product Manager at Haventree, you will be at the forefront of transforming our Lending products for broker and client engagement focusing on optimizing end-to-end journey (ecosystem). You will play a key role in identifying growth opportunities across the loan product portfolio (i.e. HELOC, LOC) while driving operational efficiency. This ideal candidate will possess lending product management background, strong technical acumen, and a track record of launching complex, scalable products.

Major Duties & Responsibilities

This position will influence and contribute to HTB’s strategic plan that supports the organization’s growth and profitability.

Product Strategy & Development

  • Support the development of product strategy and roadmap for our portfolio
  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify trends and opportunities
  • Ensure alignment of product offerings with the bank's strategic objectives

Product Development & Innovation

  • Support the end-to-end lifecycle of loan product such as HELOC, LOC, and Bridge Loan — from concept through launch — including ideation, development, testing, and iteration.
  • Own designated Loan Management System (LMS) workstreams: conduct research, gather stakeholder feedback, document requirements, lead testing, and manage the product backlog
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Technology, Risk, Operations, Legal, Compliance, and Vendors) to deliver seamless, digitally enabled lending experiences.
  • Ensure servicing functions and loan products meet relevant regulations

Product Management

  • Deliver actionable business intelligence to inform strategic decisions, define KPIs, report performance to senior leadership, and analyze key drivers.
  • Develop and execute marketing strategies and lending product launch plans.
  • Continuously identify opportunities to enhance product features, user experience, operational efficiency, and profitability.
  • Take on additional responsibilities to drive strategic growth while managing risk effectively

Stakeholder Management

  • Lead the discussions and facilitate requirements gathering with senior leadership to optimize end-to-end lending journey while crafting compelling business cases to support strategy initiatives
  • Collaborate with internal teams (e.g., Operations, Compliance, Legal, Sales, Marketing) to drive successful product development and portfolio growth

Qualifications & Experience

Degrees, Diplomas & Certifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Computer Science, or related field

Years and Range of Experience Required to Perform the Job:

  • 5+ years of experience in product management
  • Exposure to developing and launching scalable digital product and servicing functions
  • Strong technical background with ability to produce detailed-oriented requirements, contribute on technical concept discussions, architecture and APIs that enable the team to ship high quality features
  • Good understanding of lending management systems and processes, servicing capability, digital lending solutions, and regulatory requirements
  • Excellent data analytic and strategic thinking abilities, with a focus on data-driven decision-making; proficient in Excel, SQL knowledge an asset
  • Experience in writing business requirement, user stories, and testing; advanced in Miro, Confluence, Jira
  • Client-first obsession, dedication, and a “get it done” attitude
  • Able to think laterally and find innovative solutions to support strategy
  • Problem solvers with strong product intuition and ability to find solutions to complex business problems
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex business and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Skilled at influencing and collaborating across diverse perspectives—able to build consensus, establish credibility, and align stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong interpersonal skills; a collaborative team player who is self-directed, proactive, and resourceful.
  • Thrives in dynamic environments; adept at navigating ambiguity and adapting to shifting priorities.
