Junior Planner - 12 Month Contract Role.

Job Summary:

  • The Planning team is looking for a Junior Merchandise Planner who will build and maintain a Merchandise plan that will meet financial and product strategies while contributing to the pre-season and in-season management of a category. This role will be part of ongoing in-season strategy and financial plans to maximize sales and GM.

Responsibilities:

  • Build an accurate merchandise plan that will meet financial and category strategies.
  • Play a key role in quarterly Buy sign off process.
  • Manage OTB and build accurate financial forecasts by while incorporating all the pricing, promotional, and product factors.
  • Partner with cross functional teams to align on achieving optimal results for both Pre-Season and In-Season Targets.
  • Analyze and recommend key actions to support maximum inventory performance, i.e promotions, markdowns.
  • Manage seasonal exit strategies and end of life product process.
  • Maintain weekly reporting, performance management, postmortem analysis.

Qualifications:

  • University/College degree.
  • 2+ years of relevant Planning/allocation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of advanced spreadsheet applications using Excel software.
  • Thrive in the face of change with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Challenge the status quo by contributing impactful ideas and solutions.
  • Build partnerships and prioritize collaboration.
  • Be proactive and flexible team player.
