Business Analyst, Retirement Benefit Solutions

Key Responsibilities


  • Requirements Management: Elicit, analyze, and manage business requirements for client projects and maintenance enhancements
  • Gap Analysis: Identify where requirements/objectives aren't met and develop resolution strategies
  • Testing: Create test cases, perform testing, and recommend testing strategies based on risk assessment
  • Project Coordination: Manage timelines, estimations, change orders, and client documentation
  • Multitasking: Handle multiple assignments with competing deadlines while ensuring on-time delivery
  • Support: Assist with troubleshooting, investigations, and knowledge transfers as needed


Required Qualifications


  • Technical: Extensive experience with CAP Plans, provincial pension legislation, tax regulations, and administration of retirement, termination, death, and multi-employer plans
  • Skills: Excellent communication and time management abilities
  • Experience: Proven background in business analysis, requirements gathering, and agile environments
  • Capability: Ability to manage multiple assignments and prioritize competing timelines


Preferred Qualifications


  • CEBS designation is an asset
  • Experience with pension administration systems
  • Background in financial services or employee benefits
