This 12-month contract role supports the day-to-day product routines for Canada Product Team and works with more senior associates on complex projects and analysis. The primary responsibility of the role is to support our product shelf by gathering competitive information, responding to internal inquiries, and participating in the development and rollout of new capabilities. The role requires an individual who has strong interpersonal skills, ability to collaborate with different teams and people, strong communication skills and multi-tasking skills.

Primary Responsibilities/essential Functions
- Product Management
- Gathers data used to assess key product performance metrics and will be responsible for the maintenance of data related to our products and support the data management and content management of our products
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and using report templates to support competitive analysis in Excel and other industry applications such as Morningstar Direct, Y-Charts, and eVestment
- Strong ability to discover and learn new functions within applications such as Morningstar, Y-Charts, eVestment and other internal systems and applications at Capital Group
- Maintain and manage the CG Canada Product Inbox and responds to standard client, sales, and stakeholder requests
- Participates in projects impacting a product line
- Strong knowledge of CG products and services and working knowledge of competitive landscape and trends
- Monitors product adoption against business case goals
- External Industry Interaction
- Learning the industry
- Supports Product Leads in the creation, analysis and development of product plans and business cases
- Serves as a resource in developing launch plans
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned
- This role should demonstrate working knowledge of the CG products and offerings they cover, as well as the related competitive landscape and marketplace for those products. They should strive to develop working knowledge of the remaining CG product suite and related landscapes
- Working knowledge of tools such as Seismic, Y-charts, Morningstar and eVestment.

- Bachelor’s degree
- A minimum of 2 years of work experience
