Your Opportunity:
We’re building something new—and we need leaders who are ready to help shape the future of addiction and mental health care in Alberta. As a Program Manager in the Youth Compassionate Intervention portfolio, you’ll be at the forefront of a high-priority provincial initiative. This is not your typical leadership role. You’ll be managing complex clinical operations across multiple sites, leading diverse teams, and navigating fast-paced, high-stakes environments where no two days are the same. You’ll work closely with frontline staff, physicians, government partners, and community organizations to deliver compassionate, timely, and effective care to Albertans in need. You’ll also help build a culture of psychological safety, innovation, and continuous improvement—while keeping things grounded, evidence-based, and keeping the patient and their community at the center of all we do. This role is demanding and dynamic, but also filled with opportunities for laughter, connection, and joy. It takes grit, flexibility, and a spirit that finds fun in the everyday moments. You’ll be stretched, supported, and surrounded by people who care deeply about the work and each other. If you thrive in complexity, love leading through change, and want to be part of something meaningful—this is your chance. Let’s build something that matters. Together. As part of your application, please include a brief statement in your cover letter outlining your personal wellness plan—how you maintain resilience and well-being in high-pressure, emotionally demanding work environments. This position has transitioned to Recovery Alberta effective September 1, 2024. By applying on this posting, if you are the successful candidate, you agree to and will become an employee of Recovery Alberta
