IT Support Professional

Your Tasks:

  • Provide first and second-level technical support to internal users in the office and on the shop floor via phone, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to:
  • Network connectivity (LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi)
  • Data center infrastructure
  • Client computing (Windows 10, mobile devices)
  • Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, Point, OneDrive)
  • Business applications and software
  • Manage and escalate tickets using Jira Service Management.
  • Assist in onboarding/offboarding users, including hardware setup and account provisioning.
  • Maintain documentation for IT procedures and troubleshooting guides.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members on projects and system upgrades.


Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
  • Experience with data center operations and server environments.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Windows OS.
  • Familiarity with IT support in a manufacturing environment
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience with ITIL practices and ticketing systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).
  • Exposure to virtualization technologies (VMware, Hyper-V).
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Microsoft Certified: Modern Desktop Administrator Associate are considered an asset.
  • Programming skills are considered an asset (Python, C#, html, etc.).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
