Position Summary

The Training & Learning Systems Specialist will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operations, administration, and strategic utilization of the UKG Pro Learning platform. This role includes leading the development and deployment of learning content, ensuring system optimization, collaborating with cross-functional teams to meet training needs, and driving employee engagement through impactful learning experiences. The ideal candidate will have strong instructional design skills, project management experience, and a deep understanding of the UKG Pro Learning (or similar Learning Management Systems) environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee the daily operation and administrative functions of the UKG Pro Learning Administrative System.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for UKG Pro Learning.
  • Collaborate with all departments and departmental leaders to identify learning needs and develop strategic training plans.
  • Design, develop, and maintain engaging course content including e-learning modules, videos, quizzes, and certifications leveraging a multitude of software tools and AI applications.
  • Manage course and curriculum creation, scheduling, user enrollment, tracking, and reporting.
  • Ensure timely rollout and communication of new training programs, updates, and mandatory courses.
  • Monitor system usage, completion rates, and learner feedback to measure effectiveness and identify areas of improvement.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and liaise with UKG support as needed.
  • Maintain training records to ensure compliance with regulatory and Homestead standards. Create and maintain an annual corporate training calendar.
  • Train and support internal stakeholders on the use of the UKG Pro Learning platform.
  • Drive continuous improvement in learning strategies and system functionality.
  • Oversee and chair bi-weekly meeting with UKG Pro Learning Committee.

Qualifications

  • Degree, Diploma or Certification in Human Resources, Education, Learning & Development, Business Administration, Corporate Training and/or Instructional Design is preferred.
  • Experience in administering and maintaining Learning Management Systems is an asset.
  • Experience designing, developing, and implementing engaging multimedia training content is required.
  • Strong knowledge of e-learning tools (Articulate, SCORM etc.) is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
