At the forefront of transforming the future of Assurance, the Director of Innovation Operations will drive the development, adoption, maintenance, and optimization of innovative tools, AI-driven processes, and change initiatives across our national practice.
This leader will oversee the Innovation Operations team, manage experimental work through ASR Labs, lead practice enablement strategies, and ensure the ongoing performance and integration of our Advantage technology stack. Serving as a strategic bridge between Innovation Operations, Technology Risk Assurance (TRA), and practice leadership, the Director will ensure our professionals can delegate repetitive work to technology — freeing up time for higher-value client service and career growth.

Key Responsibilities
Strategic Innovation Leadership
- Lead the Innovation Operations function across the Assurance practice, including ASR Labs, Practice Enablement, and tech stack management.
- Define and execute a future-focused innovation roadmap aligned with the Advantage vision and Assurance strategic priorities.
- Partner with Technology Risk Assurance (TRA) to integrate risk-aligned technology strategies into practice operations.
- Oversee the Innovation Operations team, setting clear goals, managing performance, and developing capabilities.
- Provide mentorship and leadership development opportunities to build a high-performing team.
- Foster a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous learning.
- Design and implement firmwide enablement strategies to drive adoption of new tools, technologies, and processes.
- Lead change management programs that embed a culture of innovation and collaboration.
- Equip and empower digital champions and local leaders through workshops, hands-on labs, and practical use cases.
- Own the lifecycle management of the Assurance technology stack, ensuring tools are effective, integrated, and delivering measurable impact.
- Monitor usage patterns, adoption rates, and ROI to continuously refine the Advantage portfolio.
- Establish and enforce best practices to maximize automation, AI, and data analytics capabilities across the practice.
- Collaborate with TRA leadership to ensure seamless alignment between innovation tools and system assurance initiatives.
- Support the integration of emerging technologies into TRA methodologies to enhance assurance quality and risk management.

- You have a Bachelor’s degree; an MBA, CPA, or related advanced degree is preferred.
- You bring 10+ years of progressive leadership experience in assurance, innovation, technology operations, or consulting.
- You possess deep expertise in assurance practices, technology risk management, and emerging technologies (AI, data analytics, automation).
- You have a proven track record in managing teams, leading change management initiatives, and scaling technology adoption.
- You demonstrate strong strategic, operational, and interpersonal communication skills.
- You value collaboration, client service, and delivering measurable impact through innovation.
