Summary

The QA/QC Coordinator will be responsible for performing duties to support the quality department, including reporting, filing, record keeping, and more.

Location: Fabrication Shop - Edmonton, AB

Anticipated Start Date: October 16, 2025

Shift: Monday-Thursday, 10-hour days

Job Duties

  • Assist QA/QC team in maintaining job files
  • Compile reports from internal quality management system
  • Ensure inspection documentation is completed within designated timeline
  • Facilitate the timely compilation of turnover packages in order to meet Client-specified schedule
  • Input quality data into database
  • Monitor statistical data and assist the QC Inspectors in maintaining project NDE percentage and test requirements
  • Assist in the generation of NDE Requests and coordinate with NDE service provider in arranging NDE Services
  • Assist in the maintenance of Welder qualification database and test/retest schedules
  • Compile and archive documentation
  • File manual and electronic material as required
  • Assist the Quality Team as directed by the QC Supervisor
  • Various other duties as requested by management

Qualifications/Skills

  • High school diploma, or an acceptable combination of education and experience
  • 1-3 years’ experience in Quality role
  • CWB Level 1 is considered an asset
  • Skilled in utilizing MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Typing skills of 50 WPM or more
  • Ability to use office machines, photocopier, fax
  • Personable and ability to work well within a team environment
  • Previous industrial experience is an asset
  • Work well under pressure
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities
