Director, Cyber Risk Advisory & Assessment, Brampton, ON
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative leader to be part of our Cyber Security, Privacy and Network (CSPN) team. In this role, you will lead the Cyber Security Risk and Advisory functions, aligning with leading industry practices, engaging with a variety of stakeholders and management teams.You will lead a group of self motivated team members, guiding the advancement of the organization’s enterprise cyber risk assessment and advisory services, including the implementation of a harmonized intake process, and enhancing capabilities for identifying, measuring, and mitigating cybersecurity risks. You will collaborate effectively with both technical and business stakeholders, fostering a proactive culture of cyber risk management and developing practical solutions that balance security and customer experience.

What You’ll Do:
- Lead a diverse team in the operation and ongoing maturity of the Cybersecurity Risk Assessment functions for projects, application, and supplier reviews
- Monitor the threat landscape and provide cyber risk advisory to teams and executives across the enterprise on new threats, while bringing creative solutions and risk based recommendations to keep the organization secure
- Act as lead point of contact for critical business groups engaging in security consulting and building deep relationships
- Advise on risks associated with third-party sourcing as well as the design and implementation of secure internal solutions, ensuring that all stakeholder groups are provided with clear and actionable guidance.
- .Collaborate closely with information security and IT delivery teams to embed security best practices in all initiatives, including through the harmonized intake process.
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing cyber security or technology risk teams with a leadership style that prioritizes colleague development, collaboration and inclusion
- A collaborative nature, working with diverse teams, from business leaders to individual contributors and the ability to influence with a sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
- Demonstrated deep technical written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner while tailoring your messaging for varying audiences
- Extensive and current knowledge of cybersecurity risk management frameworks, Mentorship skills for the security team to grow, develop and foster a strong collaborative team culture
