Job Introduction

Skilled Sr. Infrastructure Administrator to manage and support our data center and remote plant sites. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with VMware in a Windows environment, ensuring the stability and efficiency of our IT infrastructure

Key Responsibilities

 Manage and Maintain IT Infrastructure: Oversee the operation and maintenance of data centers and remote plant sites, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.

 VMware Administration: Install, configure, and manage VMware environments, including vCenter and vSphere. .

 Windows Server Management: Administer Windows Server environments, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS, and Group Policies.

 Cloud: Manage applications, servers, and authentication in Microsoft Azure

 Backup and Recovery: Implement and manage backup and disaster recovery solutions to ensure data integrity and availability.

 Security Management: Ensure the security of the IT infrastructure by implementing and maintaining security policies, firewalls, and antivirus solutions.

 Troubleshooting and Support: Provide 2nd and 3rd level support for hardware and software issues, ensuring timely resolution of incidents and problems.

 Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of the IT infrastructure, including network diagrams, configuration settings, and standard operating procedures.

 Project Management: Lead and participate in IT projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.

Qualifications

 Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

 Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure management, with a focus on VMware, Windows, and Azure environments.

 Certifications: VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Microsoft Certified Solutions Expert (MCSE), or equivalent certifications preferred.

 Skills

  • Strong knowledge of VMware, and related technologies.
  • Strong knowledge of Azure Entra ID, and Azure Compute
  • Proficiency in Windows Server administration, including Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, DFS and Group Policies.
  • Knowledge of certificates for authentication and web servers
  • Knowledge of backup and disaster recovery solutions.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.


Preferred Qualifications

 Experience with other cloud-based infrastructure and services.

 Familiarity with scripting and automation tools (e.g., PowerShell).

 Experience with storage array, (disk, raid, volume, iscsi)

 Experience with Citrix and Veeam

 Knowledge of ITIL best practices.

Work Environment

 This position may require occasional travel to remote plant sites.

 On-call availability for emergency support.
