The Cloud Platform Specialist is responsible for the smooth operation and continuous improvement of cloud operating platforms. These platforms host our customers' various solutions and production environments, as well as various internal applications.

Position:
The Cloud Platform Specialist is responsible for the smooth operation and continuous improvement of cloud operating platforms. These platforms host our customers' various solutions and production environments, as well as various internal applications.
Main Responsibilities
- Participate in the architecture, implementation, and evolution of our cloud operating platforms;
- Participate in the migration of our on-site solutions to our cloud platform;
- Participate in the implementation of new solutions;
- Continuously improve automation tools and processes as code;
- Set up and maintain virtual networking;
- Set up and maintain governance and security rules;
- Ensure the proper functioning and high availability of cloud platforms hosting the company's services;
- Implement monitoring tools and processes;
- Support the production support team in Level 2 intervention mode;
- Manage accounts and access rights;
- Manage data backup tools and processes;
- Optimize solutions in terms of both performance and cost management;
- Work in a DevOps team using Agile methodology;
- Collaborate with various internal and external stakeholders;
- Comply with existing development methodologies and governance processes;
- Perform all other related tasks.
Academic Background And Experience
- University degree in computer science or a related field
- Five years of experience in public cloud systems management
- Required skills
- Cloud platform management
- IaaS (e.g., AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Management tools (e.g., AWS Control Tower)
- Continuous integration and deployment (e.g., Terraform)
- Automation as code
- Good knowledge of the Linux operating system
- Virtual networking
- External AWS connectivity: Direct Connect, Private Link, VPN, etc.
- AWS VPC endpoints, Transit gateway services
- Monitoring
- Availability, telemetry, and alerting (Grafana Cloud, AWS Cloud Watch, or Nagios)
- Log management (Grafana Cloud or Splunk)
- Security and compliance
- AWS services: Cloud Trail, Guard Duty, Inspector, Security Hub, WAF, etc.
- Bilingualism (French and English)
- Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Rigorous approach in a production environment
- AWS certifications
- Proficiency in container technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Container management
- Orchestration (e.g., Amazon ECS)
- Registry and lifecycle (e.g., ECR, GCR, Harbor)
- Container runtime (Docker)
- Orchestration and automated tasks
- Deployment “as Code”; CI/CD/Pipelines (Github actions)
- Proficiency in Python, Bash
- Configuration management
- Experience in agility
