- Conducting literature reviews and information syntheses;
- Developing and circulating the call for research participants;
- Communicating with school principals and students (potential participants) regarding participation in the study;
- Assisting principal investigator (PI) with scheduling and conducting research interviews;
- Transcribing and editing Zoom video interviews;
- Assisting researcher with analyzing transcripts;
- Writing research reports and summaries;
- Assisting PI with developing teacher workshops; and
- Presenting locally on research results.
- Be a current graduate student at the University of Regina, with preference for students enrolled in a MEd in the Faculty of Education;
- Experience with qualitative research procedures, including interviewing and analyzing qualitative data an asset;
- Experience with K-12 mathematics, STEM education, critical and culturally responsive pedagogies, and/or minoritized/marginalized learning communities;
- Have strong academic reading and writing skills;
- Be independent and self-motivated to accomplish work as discussed with, and assigned by, the PI; and
- Have proficiency and expertise in American Psychological Association (APA) format.
