The Personal Assistant plays a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth running of household and family affairs for a prominent CEO based in Guelph, Ontario. This trusted position combines elements of a Personal Assistant, Household Manager, and Family Support, requiring a balance of foresight, professionalism, and care.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail oriented, and adaptable, with the ability to take ownership of diverse responsibilities and anticipate needs before they arise. Personable and resourceful, they bring calm efficiency to managing children’s schedules, household operations, and lifestyle logistics while also liaising confidently with schools, service providers, and external vendors. What You'll Do:


Family Activities & Lifestyle Support

  • Manage and execute the daily schedule of two children (ages 14 and 10), including school runs, camps, extracurricular activities, and social engagements.
  • Anticipate and oversee children’s lifestyle needs such as uniforms, clothing, school supplies, and equipment.
  • Act as a reliable and safe driver for all role-related transportation.
  • Oversee the daily care and well-being of the family dog, including walking, feeding, and arranging veterinary, grooming, or boarding appointments.
  • Support the planning and execution of family events, celebrations, and travel preparation.

Household Operations

  • Responsible for the smooth running of the household, including scheduling maintenance, liaising with service providers, and escalating urgent property issues.
  • Oversee the care and upkeep of the family’s vehicles, ensuring seasonal servicing, registration, and repair.
  • Ensure required household shopping and errands are completed accurately and on time.
  • Provide light-touch support with tidying, cleaning and, occasional set-up for events or seasonal furniture needs.

Family & Executive Administration

  • Responsible for family calendars, anticipating conflicts, and proactively managing priorities ensuring all appointments and commitments are seamlessly executed.
  • Coordinate logistics for children’s programs, extracurricular activities, and school events.
  • Liaise with external vendors, contractors, and service providers, ensuring tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Track household expenses, reconcile receipts, and maintain organized records of payments and purchases.
  • Provide administrative support to the Executive Office team, as needed.
