What You’ll Do
- Establish and implement tools, processes and practices for effective technology and information risk management.
- Conduct and coordinate technology and information risk assessments to identify key exposures, evaluate control effectiveness, and ensure alignment with FCC’s risk appetite.
- Provide oversight and effective challenge on information and technology risks to help ensure they remain within FCC’s defined risk appetite.
- Collaborate with leaders across the business to promote risk awareness and embed risk considerations into decision-making.
- Provide guidance on risk management practices, regulatory compliance, and governance standards.
- Skilled communicator with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into practical, actionable insights.
- Collaborative leader with a track record of designing and implementing effective structures, tools, and processes.
- Strategic thinker who constructively challenges existing practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Strong relationship builder with a commitment to ongoing learning and professional growth.
- Undergraduate degree in computer science, systems engineering, commerce or business administration with 5-10 years of progressive experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
- Expertise in technology and information risk management, with an understanding of industry trends, technologies, and methodologies
