Trouw Nutrition is hiring a permanent full-time Warehouse Worker for our Sherwood Park, AB location.

About the role: Warehouse Worker will be responsible to organize the warehouse, complete inventory counts, work closely with warehouse and production staff on the establishment of order priority in accordance with manufacturing requirements and products received.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible to verify accurate recording of incoming and outgoing products

• Maintain proper stock rotation as per standard operating procedure (SOP)

• Operation of an automated bagging system in a fast-paced work environment

• Make expected daily picking tonnages

• Constant quality awareness

Skills and Expertise

Qualifications:

• Grade 12 or equivalent with 2-3 yrs. experience in a grain facility, mill or manufacturing industry

• Class 5 license an asset

• Forklift and skid steer experience is an asset

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Basic computer skills and numeracy and accuracy

Expectation from the Role:

• Full-time; Shift Work Rotation; Overtime as required; Permanent.

• Ability to work shift work is a MUST. Mandatory Shift 8 am - 4:30 pm and 4 pm - 12:30 am rotation

• Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly bend and twist, open and close lids, climb ladders and work at heights, and lift 25 kgs.

• Physical Work Conditions: Often exposed to loud sounds, distracting noise levels, and dusty environment.
