Marketing and Data Analyst (1-Year Maternity Leave Coverage)
Location: Primacorp Head Office, New Westminster, BC
Type: Full-Time, On-Site (Monday–Friday, start time between 8:00–9:00 AM)
Compensation: $60,000 – $65,000 annually, plus comprehensive benefits
Start Date: November 3, 2025
Term: 1-Year Maternity Leave Coverage
About the Role
The Marketing and Data Analyst is responsible for combining analytical skills with marketing expertise to drive data-informed decision-making and enhance marketing strategies. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, this role involves gathering, analyzing, and interpreting data to support campaigns, assess performance, and identify opportunities for growth. The successful candidate will provide actionable insights to optimize campaigns, customer acquisition, and engagement.
Key Responsibilities
1. Marketing Strategy and Analysis
Analyze marketing data to measure campaign effectiveness, customer behaviour, and other KPIs.
Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement across marketing initiatives.
Provide actionable insights to enhance marketing strategies.
2. Campaign Performance Monitoring and Optimization
Track and report on campaign performance across digital, social, and email channels.
Collaborate with marketing teams to adjust strategies in real time based on insights.
Leverage analytics tools (Google Analytics, social media insights, etc.) to measure and report outcomes.
3. Data Collection and Reporting
Collect, clean, and manage data from online platforms, CRM systems, and surveys.
Generate regular reports summarizing marketing metrics and trends.
Provide data-driven recommendations to guide future initiatives and investments.
4. Market Research
Conduct research to understand customer needs, preferences, and behaviour.
Analyze competitor activities and industry trends to support positioning strategies.
Organize and present findings to inform product and market decisions.
5. Collaboration and Support
Partner with content, design, and product teams to align creative efforts with insights.
Assist in campaign development with data-backed recommendations.
Contribute to persona development and segmentation strategies.
6. Tools and Technology Management
Utilize marketing automation tools, CRM systems, and analytics platforms effectively.
Maintain data integrity across platforms with accuracy and consistency.
Recommend new tools or technologies to improve analytics and performance.
7. Additional Duties
Stay current with marketing and analytics trends to apply best practices.
Perform other duties as required to support business objectives.
Qualifications
Education & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Data Analytics, or related field.
Minimum 2 years of experience in marketing, data analysis, or similar role (digital marketing environment preferred).
Proficiency with data analytics tools (Google Analytics, Excel, Tableau, Power BI, etc.) and marketing automation platforms.
Solid understanding of marketing strategies and proven ability to translate data into actionable insights.
Skills & Abilities
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to interpret complex data clearly.
Proficiency in MS Excel, CRM systems, and data visualization tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present insights to non-technical stakeholders.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Detail-oriented with high accuracy in data entry and reporting.
Creative and strategic thinker with strong collaboration skills.
Knowledge of current digital marketing trends and technologies.
