Main Responsibilities
- Innovate: Define, influence, support, and evaluate innovative proofs of concept or value (ideas, technologies, approaches, etc.).
- Collaborate: Work closely with cross-functional teams to make innovation a shared responsibility.
- Evangelize: Promote a culture of innovation within the organization, sharing successes, failures, and emerging trends.
- Deliver Value: Be results-oriented and demonstrate the tangible benefits of innovation.
- Analyze: Stay on top of new trends and ecosystems (data, startups, etc.).
- Governance: Evolve principles, processes, and best practices in innovation.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, business technology management, business administration, or any other relevant field of equivalent level.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in information technology, including at least 5 years in the area of specialization.
- Proven achievements and recognized current expertise by peers in the field.
- Excellent communicator, structured, and a skilled technical simplifier with strong synthesis abilities and a collaborative mindset.
- Natural leader with the ability to influence and guide others, especially delivery teams and stakeholders across the organization.
- Ability to operate effectively in a constantly evolving and often ambiguous organizational context.
- Familiarity with the startup ecosystem.
- Advanced proficiency in both English and French, as the role requires presenting, influencing, and collaborating with various business lines and stakeholders. This is essential to understand their vision, meet their needs, influence decisions, and lead initiatives.
- Graduate degree in the area of expertise.
- Knowledge of the insurance and financial services industry.
- Any relevant certification recognized in the field of expertise.
- Experience in digital transformation and large-scale projects will be considered an asset.
