Your Daily Challenges
- Investigate damages: conduct in-depth field investigations into the origin and cause of building envelope damage.
- Untangle regulatory issues: analyze applicable regulations in litigation cases and draw clear, relevant conclusions.
- Apply your analytical skills: review on-site findings to develop solid technical conclusions.
- Dive into standards: perform thorough research on regulatory requirements and ensure accurate interpretation.
- Filter the essentials: analyze documentation to identify key information.
- Deepen case understanding: hold meetings with clients or stakeholders to strengthen your understanding of cases.
- Use your writing talent: draft clear, precise, and well-structured technical reports.
- Communicate effectively: deliver verbal reports, concise emails, or full court-ready documents in accordance with established procedures.
- Present your conclusions: act as an expert witness in court, when required.
- Contribute actively: participate in the continuous improvement of team processes, methods, and tools.
- Live the company values: reflect our principles in all interactions with colleagues and clients.
- A Master's degree in Architecture and, most importantly, an interest in the technical side of architecture?
- At least 5 years of experience in technical-legal expertise or architectural design?
- Registration with the Ordre des Architectes du Québec?
- A valid construction site access card?
- An interest in reading and researching information related to building expertise cases?
- Strong proficiency in French and English, spoken and written, to serve our internal clients across Canada? (an asset)
- A vehicle and valid driver's license to be mobile in Montreal and surrounding areas, and occasionally elsewhere in the province?
