Location: Camp – Fort McMurray, Alberta
Position Type: Temporary (2 weeks, 14–18 days)
Wage/Salary Range: $27.30 per hour
Shift Schedule: Rotating day/night shifts
Hours Per Day: 12-hour shifts (camp accommodations and meals provided)

Job Overview:
GrizzlyTrek is currently seeking one Labourer to join our valued client’s team at a camp near Fort McMurray, Alberta. This is a temporary position, ideally suited to an individual committed to excellence and safety. The project scope includes pond dewatering, maintaining water levels, installing geotechnical systems, and supporting water rescue operations.
Responsibilities:
Assist with pond dewatering activities and water level maintenance.
Support geotechnical installation as directed.
Participate in water rescue support as required.
Follow all safety protocols and contribute to a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
CSO (Common Safety Orientation) certification.
First Aid certification.
Wildlife Awareness (Energy Safety Canada).
Ability to pass a drug and alcohol test.
Preferred Qualifications:
Valid IOL Kearl orientation.
Previous industrial or remote-site experience.
Strong teamwork and safety-first mindset.
Work Environment:
Remote camp near Fort McMurray with accommodations and meals provided.
Travel provided from Edmonton to site.
Work is primarily outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Use of company trucks (limited to approved drivers; $200/day allowance with fuel card).
Benefits:
Paid orientation and training (approximately 10 hours including site orientation, contractor orientation, and bear awareness).
Wages: $27.30/hr.
12-hour shifts with camp accommodations and meals provided (no LOA).
Travel provided from Edmonton.
Vehicle support: trucks available with fuel cards; parking limitations in effect.
