Job Description

Reporting to the Manager, Demand Planning, the successful candidate must thrive in a fast paced, ever changing environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism, accuracy and detail. We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a “can do” attitude. Responsible for developing the demand plan at the level required to support Integrated Business Planning Process and Supply Chain Planning. Working with various stakeholders, the successful candidate will communicate plan changes and develop scenarios using multiple inputs and analysis.

Responsibilities

  • Create and continuously improve demand forecasts using data analysis, scenario planning, and statistical methods.
  • Work with Sales and Marketing to align forecasts with market trends, and communicate changes and insights to stakeholders.
  • Track forecast accuracy, conduct root cause analysis, and report key metrics to support decision-making.
  • Maintain forecasting tools, databases, and documentation to ensure consistent and efficient planning processes.

Qualifications

  • University degree or College diploma or equivalent experience in Supply Chain or Demand Planning.
  • Knowledge of forecasting techniques and developing forecasting models.
  • Background in statistics or math.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to coordinate working with a team and various departments.
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills.
  • Previous experience in MRP/ERP systems, production control & inventory management will be considered an asset.
  • Proficiency in MS Office is required.
  • Experience using Cognos and Forecasting System would be considered an asset.
