Director, Cyber Security Governance, Brampton, ON
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative leader to be part of our Cyber Security, Privacy and Network (CSPN) team. In this role, you will be responsible for our governance-related activities, including benchmarking, policy/standards, awareness and training, and metrics and reporting. You will lead a group of self-motivated team members, and will engage with a variety of stakeholders and management teams across LTA and the business.

Director, Cyber Security Governance, Brampton, ON
We are looking for a collaborative and innovative leader to be part of our Cyber Security, Privacy and Network (CSPN) team. In this role, you will be responsible for our governance-related activities, including benchmarking, policy/standards, awareness and training, and metrics and reporting. You will lead a group of self-motivated team members, and will engage with a variety of stakeholders and management teams across LTA and the business.
What You’ll Do:
- Drive and measure the overall security maturity (using NIST) and benchmarks across the organization focused on standardization, resiliency, and automation
- Mature cyber security and technology policies and standards in partnership with key stakeholders, ensuring thought leadership in strong industry and internal risk practices
- Lead the security awareness program and related training and simulation activities (e.g. phishing)
- Establish, monitor, enhance and report on board-level governance and risk metrics to senior executives, including trends and dashboards for various stakeholders
- Drive the Cyber Security & Technology Risk Committee agenda, material and meetings, and creation of board reports for cyber security and technology
- Foster a culture of strong cyber security and continuous maturation and drive awareness and adoption of standards and automation across multi-functional departments and business units through awareness campaigns, stakeholder engagement, and executive sponsorship
- Drive governance integration and streamlining across CSPN risk management function (e.g., knowledge management, policy management, central intake, and metrics and reporting)
- Demonstrated experience leading high performing cyber security or technology risk teams with a leadership style that prioritizes colleague development, collaboration and inclusion
- Solid understanding of IT risk, security maturity, reporting and control frameworks (e.g. NIST v2.0, ISO 27001/2, ISF SOGP) typically gained by having a professional certification and/or related experience
- A collaborative nature, working with diverse teams, from business leaders to individual contributors and the ability to influence with a sense of urgency, accountability, and ownership
- Demonstrated deep technical written and verbal communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate ideas in a clear and concise manner while tailoring your messaging for varying audiences
- Energy and passion to foster a strong security culture, and for Policies and Standards, with an aptitude to evolve and mature the program, taking it to the next level
- Known for interpersonal and communication skills that cultivate positive working relationships
