Responsibilities

  • Manage creation, modification, and termination of user accounts across IT systems and SaaS platforms (Office 365, Atlassian, Zoho, etc.).
  • Provide first-line IT support for the local office while acting as the primary escalation resource for IT technicians in other locations.
  • Administer and maintain SaaS tools, cloud applications, and infrastructure, as well as physical servers when necessary.
  • Respond to and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues reported by users.
  • Ensure proper deployment, maintenance, and decommissioning of laptops and workstations, including automated provisioning (Windows Provisioning Packages or similar).
  • Manage and improve desktop deployment and device lifecycle processes (procurement, imaging, deployment, and decommissioning).
  • Build and maintain IT automations and scripts using Power Automate, PowerShell, and Azure Automation Accounts to streamline onboarding/offboarding, device management, and access provisioning.
  • Oversee and maintain local area network components (firewalls, switches, access points) and related hardware.
  • Support telephony systems and ensure reliable operation of A/V equipment in meeting rooms.
  • Partner with department heads and leadership to identify IT and business needs, define SLOs/SLAs, and design processes and solutions to meet them.
  • Collaborate with management and finance to establish and track annual IT budgets.
  • Lead and implement IT projects and infrastructure improvements that support company growth and security requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships for IT hardware, software, and managed services.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of system configurations, IT assets, and processes.
  • Ensure compliance with IT security and data protection standards (e.g., access control, device management, backups, incident response).

Qualifications & Skills

  • 5+ years of experience as an IT/System Administrator or similar role in a SaaS or cloud-centric environment.
  • Hands-on experience with PowerShell scripting, Power Automate, or Azure Automation.
  • Familiarity with automated device provisioning and deployment (e.g., Windows Autopilot, provisioning packages, or similar tools).
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS; working knowledge of macOS and Linux is an asset.
  • Experience managing EntraID, Office 365 (Exchange, SharePoint Online, Teams), and SaaS platforms.
  • Previous use of remote deployment and endpoint management tools (e.g., Intune, Jamf, SCCM, or equivalents).
  • Experience with IT ticketing/help desk systems and IT process documentation.
  • Ability to partner with leadership to define IT service levels (SLOs/SLAs) and implement processes to meet business needs.
