Position Overview:

The Operations Analyst plays a key role in ensuring the efficiency, stability, and continuous improvement of the organization’s IT and business operations. This position bridges technical support and operational excellence, analyzing performance data, optimizing workflows, and coordinating initiatives that enhance service delivery and system reliability. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented problem solver who thrives in a collaborative environment and can translate operational insights into actionable improvements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and analyze daily operational performance across systems and processes, identifying trends, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
  • Support IT governance, compliance, and change management activities in alignment with ITIL and internal standards.
  • Manage and track service requests and incidents through ticketing platforms (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira), ensuring SLA compliance and timely resolution.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows, enhance system reliability, and support organizational goals.
  • Maintain and analyze operational data to produce dashboards, reports, and insights that guide decision-making and resource planning.
  • Coordinate small-scale technology or process improvement projects, including upgrades, deployments, and procedural optimizations.
  • Develop and maintain documentation, process maps, and knowledge base materials for operational consistency and continuous improvement.
  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 support across Microsoft 365 tools (Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, OneDrive), escalating complex cases where necessary.
  • Partner with stakeholders to assess recurring issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend sustainable solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

  • Relevant certifications such as ITIL v3/v4 Foundation or Microsoft 365 Administrator are preferred.
  • 8+ years of experience in operations analysis, IT support, or a related role within a corporate environment.
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 administration and familiar with IT service management practices.
  • Strong analytical mindset with experience gathering, interpreting, and reporting on operational data.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify process inefficiencies and drive measurable improvements.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Familiarity with ITIL frameworks (incident, problem, and change management).
  • Hands-on experience with service management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy).
  • Knowledge of Active Directory, Exchange, and general networking principles is an asset.
