Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver an exceptional customer experience by maintaining contractual service levels.
- Coordinate with project managers and clients to meet installation deadlines.
- Utilize your experience and knowledge for customer documentation development.
- Set-up, install and configure wall-mounted screens, audiovisual and network equipment.
- Ensure all installations meet safety and quality standards.
- Run, conceal, and secure cables for power, HDMI, Ethernet, and control connections.
- Test screen functionality after mounting to ensure power, signal, and display quality.
- Perform hardware warranty and non-warranty repairs of desktops and notebooks.
- Perform imaging and re-imaging of workstation operating systems and applications
- Provide end-user support and assistance on various operating systems and applications
- Execute complex moves, adds, changes of computer equipment.
- Complete complex hardware and/or software upgrades to existing equipment.
- Perform network connections for desktops and printers.
- Support and service customers with POS, Servers, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi.
- Maintain; or ability to attain, major vendor (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.) certifications.
- Must be able to lift a minimum of 40 lbs independently on a regular basis.
- Other duties as required.
- 1-2 years of related experience.
- Experience with Tier 1 vendors (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.). (Asset).
- Experience with POS, Servers, Switches, Routers and Wi-Fi.is (Asset).
- Experience with current Operating Systems.
- Experience with determining and resolving problems with laser printers (major vendors) (preferred).
- Experience in diagnosing, documenting and troubleshooting issues spanning multiple technologies (preferred).
- Strong time management skills with proven sense of urgency to complete tasks and assignments.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- High level of integrity and honesty.
- Ability to take direction and follow practices and procedures consistently and accurately.
- Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
- Bilingualism is an asset.
- Standard work hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm.
- 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
- Car is required (Travel to client sites, with the ability to travel long distances when required).
- Availability to work evenings, weekends and out of town.
- May be required to work overtime, with paid compensation based on local Employment Standards Act.
- Frequently assigned to new tasks to adjust to changing priorities.
- Maintain Comptia certifications.
- Maintain; or ability to attain, major vendor (HP, Dell, Lenovo, Lexmark, Xerox, etc.) certifications.
