Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot operational issues with heavy-duty diesel trucks and equipment.
  • Perform maintenance and repairs on diesel, CNG, gasoline, and electric-powered vehicles and hydraulic systems.
  • Plan and schedule repairs using M5 planner; order necessary parts to ensure timely service.
  • Complete daily work orders, reports, and documentation accurately and on time.
  • Use diagnostic software and tools to perform inspections and repairs.
  • Ensure all repairs comply with company safety standards and government regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
  • Train and mentor new technicians as needed.
  • Stay current with technical manuals, training programs, and emerging technologies.
  • Assist with other duties as required by management.

Requirements

  • Fully Licensed Heavy Duty Mechanic
  • Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a diesel mechanic.
  • Experience with diagnostic software is a strong asset.
  • Comfortable using computers and learning new software tools.
  • Must meet safety-sensitive role criteria per company standards.
  • Own and maintain a complete set of tools suitable for heavy-duty repair.
  • Ability to meet safety-sensitive criteria as per company standards.
