The Role
// At Masabi, Solutions Consultants shape the design and delivery of technology that impacts millions of transit riders. Sitting at the intersection of technical problem-solving and customer success, this role blends solution design, unlocking integration paths for partners and cross-functional collaboration.
You’ll engage across the full solution lifecycle, from helping scope early opportunities and respond to procurement processes, through to supporting implementations and partner integrations. You’ll collaborate closely with transit agencies, vendors and our internal teams to ensure solutions are not just desirable, but deliverable.
This is a high-impact, customer-facing role where curiosity, clarity, and a collaborative approach are key. You’ll help simplify complexity, guide conversations, and support clients and colleagues alike as we build the future of public transit together.

Responsibilities

Early Engagement & Discovery
- Partner with Business Development to qualify opportunities and shape customer thinking
- Run collaborative discovery sessions with customers and partners to gather technical and business requirements
- Facilitate solution workshops to align stakeholders around feasible, scalable designs
Solution Design & Proposals
- Translate requirements into clear, practical solution architectures and data flows
- Own or contribute to RFP and proposal responses, particularly in regulated/public procurement
- Collaborate with Product and Engineering to assess feasibility and guide roadmap alignment
Contracting & Delivery Support
- Translate solutions into robust Statements of Work (SoWs) and commercial documentation
- Support third-party vendors when integrating with our platform via APIs
- Work with Delivery and Engineering to support smooth handoffs and solution implementation
- Identify gaps in documentation or integration flows, and raise issues with the right internal teams
Market Insight & Enablement
- Feed insights from customer conversations and market requirements back to internal teams
- Contribute to internal tooling, documentation and onboarding materials for future hires and partners
Specialisation Paths

Business-Facing Focus
- Support senior customer stakeholders with business case development, procurement processes, and strategic discussions
- Facilitate workshops that uncover challenges and co-design meaningful solutions
Technical Focus
- Deepen your knowledge of our platform and APIs to guide integration efforts
- Develop artefacts (e.g. diagrams, flows) that help bridge customer needs with product capabilities
About You
- Experience in a technical consulting, solutions engineering or product-focused role
- Comfortable working with APIs, data models, and integration flows
- Confident contributing to RFPs, SoWs or structured procurement responses
- Skilled at guiding diverse stakeholders through complex topics and co-creating practical solutions
- Comfortable working across teams and navigating ambiguity with care and clarity
- Proactive and thoughtful, you take initiative and move things forward with awareness of others
- Experienced in working with enterprise or public-sector customers in complex environments
- Able to balance commercial, technical, and delivery considerations when shaping solutions
- A strong communicator, clear, concise, and adaptable across technical and non-technical audiences
- Committed to building trust and acting as a strategic partner to customers and colleagues
- Bilingual English/French is mandatory
Nice to Have
- Experience in transit, mobility, govtech, fintech, or other regulated industries
- Familiarity with fare collection systems or transit agency environments
- Exposure to partner integrations, particularly involving third-party hardware or SaaS platforms
