Victoria, BC Full-time $152000.00-$228000.00/year
Are You a Clever Duck?
Take a gander at this post…
Accent Inns Inc. is a BC-based hospitality company that is different in a good way. Here, we LEAD WITH LOVE, and our number one metric is the happiness of our staff, who we call our Fam-Jam. Our Fall 2025 Employee Survey showed that 95% of our employees are happy to work here, with a 95% participation rate!
We have two hotel chains: Accent Inns, where there is a rubber duck in every room, and Hotel Zed, where we rebel against the ordinary. Our latest venture is ROAR, our live-fire restaurant in Tofino, BC.
We’re growing our executive team—lovingly nicknamed the Care Bears because ‘Executive Team’ was, frankly, lamer—and we’re on the hunt for a VP of Marketing, Sales, and Revenue to join our fun-loving flock of rebels.
This role reports to our President, Chris Campbell, and will work closely with our amazing CEO, Mandy Farmer, to translate Mandy’s vision and design into our hotels and the world. You will manage our three departments responsible for our overall revenue strategy. This means no more gaps or miscommunications, just one holistic revenue strategy with three teams all driving towards the same goals.
Who We Are
Success attracts success, and here you will be working with an extraordinary company. We are a force in the industry:
We cover 100% of medical and dental premiums, PLUS you get free mental health benefits. We also have a bunch of Work Perks just for you:
What the Role is Quacked Up to Be
The VP of Marketing/Sales/Revenue will be wholly responsible for the overall marketing, revenue, and communications strategy to align the three departments responsible for our revenue generation. This role will increase our top-line revenue, steward our brands, and create a strong partnership with Operations.
Your role is to fill our hotels profitably, position our brands effectively, maximize the right mix, and drive topline revenue across all revenue-generating business areas. You will own occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR across our hotels, optimize every sales and marketing dollar, and give Care Bears clarity and foresight to grow revenue predictably. You will position the brand effectively in the market. You will balance sales, marketing, and revenue management to grow top-line revenue.
As a Care Bear, you will deliver and execute the organization's strategic vision for your teams, departments, and properties. This includes working with your fellow Care Bears to set strategic goals and a vision across all the organization's brands and touchpoints.
You will lead and nurture the development and growth of a high-performing and unique team, be a DEIB champion, and leverage your team's collective capacity to deliver on our purpose, values, and strategy. You are an astute coach and mentor who motivates others to be their best and will build strength in every corner of our operation. You are an exact communicator and translator of vision towards a common goal of growth and success.
In your first 3 months, you will…
What to expect from us?
Application: We will do our best to review and respond to all applications.
First Interview (60 min): You will meet with Noah Warder, our VP of People and Culture, to discuss your experience, value alignment with Accent Inns, and what you can expect in this role.
Second Interview (90 min): You will meet with Noah alongside Chris (Badders) Baddeley, our Sr. Vice President, to dig into your technical experience, hospitality knowledge, how you collaborate with other departments, executive strategy, and answer questions you have about the team and organization.
Third Interview (90 min): You will meet with Chris Campbell, our President, Mandy Farmer, our CEO, and Morgan Gregory, our Manager of Executive Operations, to discuss executive strategy, Care Bear expectations, the company's risk profile and financial perspective, and other topics.
Project/Presentation: There will be a 4-6 hour paid take-home assignment that will be discussed after the third interview.
Final Interview (120 min): This will be a panel presentation where you will present to the Care Bear team (Mandy, Chris, Noah, and Badders) on your take-home assignment.
Optional Dinner: Depending on timing, schedules, and availability, there may be a final casual dinner with the Care Bear team.
Offer: This is where we get to pop the champagne (or sparkling non-alcoholic apple cider) to celebrate joining our crew of Ducks ‘n Rebels!
