The Material Handler/Laborer will be responsible for processing/handling wastes. Operating equipment related to the position including forklift, pallet jack, etc.

Permanent position offered on a full-time basis, with schedules from Monday to Friday, day time.

Job Description
The Material Handler/Laborer will be responsible for processing/handling wastes. Operating equipment related to the position including forklift, pallet jack, etc.
Main Responsibilities
- Follow the operations manual for assigned position;
- Implement Regulation 347 and Transportation of Dangerous Goods (TDG) policies as presented;
- Completes all paperwork including task sheets and reports as may be required;
- Complete dispatched task in an efficient and timely manner;
- Communicated to competent persons and abnormalities or faulty situations in regards to the process, product, machine, equipment, workplace or other;
- Wear safety personal protective equipment as required for this position, work safely and observes all safety procedures;
- Able to work various hours;
- Must be able to wear a respirator.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience:
- Grade 12 diploma;
- Must be able to read, write and count;
- Experience on paper work such as time sheets and preparation of reports;
- Class G licence required;
- AZ/DZ licence an Asset;
- Ability to pass a criminal record check;
- Ability to work independently and efficiently;
- Organized and must be able to work with established procedures, guidelines and under immediate supervision;
- Excellent customer service skills and positive attitude;
- Team work orientedè
- Ability to work at heights, able to lift 50 lbs. ;
- Excellent physical condition.
