What you will do:
As an Associate Sales Representative, Instruments you will assist in strategically promoting and selling Stryker products to meet our customers’ needs. You confidently conduct product evaluations in OR and office settings, persuasively demonstrating the value of our products. Systematically tracking your territory progress, you proactively communicate your wins with your Sales Representatives and push yourself to exceed each goal. When onsite with clients, you use your product knowledge and quick thinking to solve product problems and inform doctors, nurses and other staff as to the proper use and maintenance of our products. You take great pride in excellent service and are prepared to assist a customer whenever the need arises. As an Associate Representative, you love living in the fast lane and find purpose in selling Stryker products that are making healthcare better.
Assist Sales Representatives in the promotion and sales of Stryker products
Educates and informs doctors, nurses, and appropriate staff personnel as to the proper use and maintenance of Stryker products
Directs product evaluations in operating rooms and office settings
May assist in the preparation and operation of trade shows, conventions, and/or clinical meetings
Keeps Regional Sales Manager and Sales Representatives informed of territory progress on a regular basis
Solves product problems for customers in an expeditious fashion
Manage and maintain a sample inventory of products
Understands and adheres to all OR and pertinent OSHA guidelines when conducting a product evaluation
Rigidly adheres to all GMP policies and procedures as stipulated by the FDA
Has authority to recommend and initiate preventative and correction action with regard to product non-conformances and quality system activities
What you need
Required:
University Degree
1+ years of sales, clinical or other applicable experience
Preferred:
Degree in business with an emphasis in marketing OR a degree in a health-related discipline, science, or kinesiology
1+ years of experience in Medical Device Sales
Additional Information:
Must be able to travel (ground and air) to support territory responsibilities as well as company-related duties and obligations
Internal applicants with an equivalent combination of education, experience and performance over time at Stryker will be considered
Must have a valid driver’s license
