Administrator, Underwriting Operations Support

What you’ll accomplish with us

As an Administrator, Underwriting Operations Support, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

1. Distribution of tasks

  • Update LUS system with received requirements

  • Search the system to match documents not automatically matched by the system


2. Follow-up and payment

  • Follow up on requests submitted to reinsurers

  • Respond to provider inquiries for APS requests by completing required actions (e.g., requesting a hand-signed medical authorization)

  • Make payments for requirement requests to other insurers

  • Manage emails in the team inbox


3. Underwriting administrative support

  • Perform MIB code searches and requests

  • Modify MIB codes based on information provided by underwriting

  • Make requests for sharing medical requirements with different insurers

  • Submit and follow up on summary requests for lengthy medical records

  • In collaboration with underwriting, draft explanatory letters for refusals to clients’ physicians

  • Make policy cancellation requests

  • Has 2 years of experience in a similar role

  • Holds a diploma in a relevant field
