Founded by serial entrepreneur and investor Dan Martell (investor in Udemy, Intercom, and Unbounce), we’re building a company that values leadership, growth, and simplicity, and we’re looking for people who live those values too.

At the heart of everything we do:

Be the example…growth mindset. Build the people…we build people, the people build the business. Simple scales…we scale with simplicity, not complexity.

The Role

As Senior Accountant, you’ll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring that numbers are not only accurate but meaningful. You’ll manage day-to-day accounting, lead month-end close, and support financial planning and analysis that drives better business decisions.

You’ll work closely with leadership to translate financial insights into action, help refine our systems and reporting, and implement smarter ways to manage cash flow, margins, and performance as we grow.

What You’ll Do

  • Own the full accounting cycle, managing journal entries, reconciliations, and monthly close with precision and speed
  • Prepare and analyze financial statements, providing clear and actionable insights to leadership and department heads
  • Lead reporting and forecasting support, assisting in budget planning, cash flow tracking, and variance analysis
  • Streamline processes by identifying inefficiencies in current workflows and implementing automation or system improvements
  • Manage financial compliance by ensuring accuracy in tax filings, payroll reporting, and adherence to IFRS/ASPE standards
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with teams across marketing, operations, and events to track and optimize spend
  • Support audits and financial reviews by preparing working papers, documentation, and reconciliations for internal and external review
  • Contribute to growth initiatives by bringing a financial lens to strategic discussions and helping to evaluate new projects and investments

What You Bring

Required

  • 2–4 years of progressive accounting experience (industry or public accounting)
  • Near or newly completed CPA designation
  • Proficiency with accounting systems and Excel (pivot tables, formulas, lookups)
  • Strong understanding of full-cycle accounting and financial statement preparation
  • Attention to detail, accuracy, and a proactive attitude toward problem-solving
  • Ability to communicate complex financial data clearly and simply

Preferred

  • Experience in a high-growth or creative industry (media, marketing, or SaaS)
  • Familiarity with tools like QuickBooks Online, Xero, or NetSuite
  • Exposure to budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting
  • Interest in systems, automation, and process optimization

You’re a Great Fit If You…

  • See accounting as a strategic driver, not just a reporting function
  • Love solving problems and improving how things are done
  • Thrive in fast-paced, dynamic environments
  • Take pride in precision and proactive communication
  • Want to grow into a controller or finance leadership path
  • Are hungry for more than a job, you want a mission
