Job Profile
The Branch Manager oversees all functions of the local business unit, including aspects of operations, administration, and business development opportunities. Responsibilities include promoting and actively reinforcing company policies and procedures designed to keep the branch operations and personnel safe, efficient, and profitable. The ideal candidate will have strong local knowledge of industry in the Weyburn/Estevan area and will possess a combination of excellent analytical and communication skills along with natural leadership qualities.Benefits:

Job Duties
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to drive growth of the branch
- Foster proactive safety culture by leading by example
- Develop and maintain relationships with new and existing customers
- Ensure effective branch project management oversight
- Create and manage branch budgets
- Review income statements for trends and areas of improvement
- Forecast manpower and equipment for area of influence
- Ensure workforce is trained and executing duties in alignment with company policies and procedures
- Oversee logistics planning and resources
- Ensure all federal and provincial regulations and legislation are not contravened
- Act with the highest degree of ethics and moral responsibility
- Responsible for the hiring and professional development of all direct reports in collaboration with HR
- Resolve disputes
- Actively promote and grow the DFI brand within the community and local industries
Qualifications
- Intermediate user of Microsoft Office suite of products
- 2+ years Outside Sales Experience
- Certificate/Bachelors degree in BA or Commerce or 10+ years work experience including 5 years management/business development experience
- Oilfield Industrial and/or Commercial Foundation Construction and/or Hydrovac experience is considered and asset
- Experience with Commercial Transportation and/or Logistic Management is an asset
