Brant Arts Pharmacy has been proudly serving the Burlington and surrounding area for 60 years! We are looking for a part-time Cash & Customer Service Associate to join our growing team. Job Description:

  • Work closely with the front store and pharmacy team to greet and assist customers in store and over the phone while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service.
  • Accurately complete sales transactions and procedures on the point of sale, handle cash and debit/credit transactions, balance tills, facilitate product returns, complete lottery transactions, prepare customer deliveries, etc.
  • Communicate professionally with customers, healthcare providers, and suppliers.
  • Order, organize and stock products in the pharmacy and front store and participate in regular inventory counts.
  • Maintain excellent cleanliness and organization of the front store, pharmacy, and stockroom.
  • Complete a variety of administrative functions including faxing, filing, scanning documents, etc.
  • Promote and participate in maintaining a healthy, safe and inclusive work environment.
  • Keep up-to-date with product information and promotions.
  • Adhere to all confidentiality and privacy requirements.
  • Follow all Standard Operating Procedures as they relate to our various services.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills as well as a friendly and professional approach to serving customers.
  • Strong numerical and cash handling skills with a high level of accuracy.
  • Willingness to work well in a team environment.
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities while working in a fast-paced setting.
  • Great time management and organizational skills.
  • This position requires approximately 8-15 hours per week primarily during the evenings (4-7pm) and weekends (Sat 9am-3pm, Sun 11am-4pm) .
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods, occasionally lift or move up to 20lbs, occasionally use a ladder or step stool to retrieve merchandise, stock shelves, etc.
  • Must be able to legally work in Canada.
  • Previous experience working in a cash / customer service position is considered an asset.
