Faculty Appointment Types Part-time Job Summary
The College of New Caledonia is looking for a JET Program Instructor. The incumbent will be required to prepare and deliver course curriculum, which will include integrated learning opportunities, developing skills relating to obtaining and maintaining employment, as well as supervise job placements, and liaise with community support services

- A Bachelor’s degree in Adult Special Education is required (a Master’s degree preferred)
- Teaching experience with people (adults preferred) who have a broad range of developmental disabilities
- A combination of education and experience will be considered
- Provincial Instructor’s Diploma an asset
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a strong belief in the abilities of people, and respect for individual learning styles
- Demonstrated abilities to liaise with community groups
- Knowledge of supported employment placements
