Job Overview

Hypercare is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented QA Engineer Co-op Student/Intern to join our team in the exciting and rewarding world of healthcare technology. In this role, you’ll help ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of our platform through manual and automated testing. You’ll work closely with our team of developers, our product manager, and UX designer to identify bugs, improve test coverage, and contribute to the delivery of a world-class product experience.

Key Activities And Responsibilities Include The Following

  • Assist in designing and executing test plans, test cases, and test scripts for new and existing features.
  • Perform manual testing of web and mobile applications to identify defects and usability issues.
  • Collaborate with the development team to understand system requirements and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Participate in regression, integration, and performance testing.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and documentation.

Qualifications & What We're Looking For

  • Excited to work at a start-up and ability to work independently.
  • Currently enrolled in a Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related program, as a full-time student.
  • Basic understanding of software development lifecycles (SDLC) and testing principles.
  • Familiarity with web or mobile application testing is an asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Compensation & Internship Period

  • Base salary: $3,000 monthly
  • Placement Dates: December 1, 2025 to April 10, 2026
  • Successful candidate must be able to start by December 1, 2025
