Your Role:
Shift: Regular Full Time, Tuesday to Saturday 5:00 A.M. to 1:30 P.M

Your Role:
- Oversee storage of merchandise to maintain product quality and freshness;
- Act as primary contact to Coordinate CFIA Food Inspections;
- Follow, maintain and execute product recall processes;
- Verify received products against purchase orders for item description, quantity & quality;
- Provide input for third-party carriers for transportation services as needed;
- Actively participate in cold chain monitoring, analysis data, and provide recommendations;
- Ensure that all perishable and dated merchandise is rotated on a FIFO basis;
- Perform cycle counts and monthly inventory as per CMF/NWC policies and procedures;
- Advise Sales and Operations in regards to all quality issues/concerns;
- Maintain all records of inventory transactions/transfers/adjustments for auditing purposes; report and submit error which affect inventory;
- Verify if products are taxable with the Commodity Tax Coordinator, and;
- Assist with accounts payable/receivable, reception and Supervisors.
- Previous inventory experience is required;
- High School Diploma or willing to obtain in the next 18 months;
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Excel/ Word/Power Point Microsoft office);
- General understanding of warehouse functions and logistics;
- Must have excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload to meet all deadlines;
- Strong customer service skills with a demonstrated ability to interact with all levels of internal and external customers;
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment; and
- Be able to adapt easily to a fast paced warehouse environment.
