Job Overview

Ontario Power Generation (OPG) is looking for a dynamic, strategic and results-driven professional to join our team in the role of Senior Business Analyst, ERP Supply Chain Modernization.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Chain, this position is responsible for gathering and translating process into ERP system requirements, enhancing supply chain processes, Strong understanding of end-to-end supply chain best in class functions and supporting system enhancements through cross-functional collaboration.

Key Accountabilities

  • Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, Planning, and DT&S teams to gather and document business requirements for ERP system enhancements or implementations.
  • Apply hands-on ERP experience (SAP, Oracle, Maximo) and integration expertise (Ariba, SAP, lean IX ) to support supply chain operations and system alignment.
  • Leverage strong analytical skills to collect, interpret, and synthesize complex data from multiple sources to support business decision-making.
  • Core understanding and execution of project management fundamentals and best practices and conduct detailed process mapping and gap analysis using Lean Six Sigma tools and governance to identify opportunities and drive improvements.
  • Lead business process reengineering initiatives to optimize supply chain functions in preparation for ERP deployment, ensuring alignment with industry and regulatory standards.
  • Experience in Nuclear Utilities or Energy sector from a QA perspective, translate business needs into functional ERP requirements and document clear, actionable use-cases for system development.
  • Support data requirements and manage the solution roadmap and prioritization framework, ensuring backlog items align with strategic business goals.
  • Strong presentation skills to support decision-making and develop executive-level presentations that synthesize findings and recommendations.

Qualifications

  • 4 years of University Degree: Supply Chain, Business, or Engineering
  • Supply chain designation and Project Management certificate would be considered an asset
  • Minimum 8 years of experience as a business analyst
  • Expertise in system integrations including Ariba, SAP, Mximo etc,
  • Foundational understanding of end-to-end supply chain processes (Demand planning, MRP, Inventory, Warehouse, Strategic Sourcing, P2P).
  • Strong ability to navigate and communicate across various stakeholder levels (upstream/downstream).
  • Proven experience in business process mapping and change management.
  • Lean Six Sigma certification, minimum green belt would be an asset

The base salary range considers many factors including, but not limited to experience, education, and training, including any collective agreement requirements for union represented positions. It is not typical for the salary to be offered near the top of the range, and salary is dependent on numerous factors. For management roles, the base salary range does not represent the total compensation package. The total compensation package for regular full-time management roles includes pay-for-performance programs for annual and medium time periods.
