Who We're Looking For
Rogers is seeking a Data Solutions Architect (DSA), to join the Data & AI team. You'll be supporting the function that is responsible for estimating and designing data products for the enterprise and will interface with all Rogers business units.
The candidate must have deep understanding of the data world including design, integration capabilities, and database management systems. The candidate must also be able to work closely with the users, applications/systems designers and developers on various projects and support teams. The candidate is expected to have solid theoretical as well as hands-on practical experience on every step of the enterprise data design process - from high-level logical design to the final implementation of the envisioned design.

What You'll Do
- Lead creation of High-Level Design (HLD) and Detailed Design Documents (DDD) for data, technology, and ETL architecture.
- Collaborate with business partners, architects, engineers, DBAs, and analysts to define and implement data solutions.
- Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models with a focus on reusability and interoperability.
- Support cloud migration efforts and ensure alignment with data governance and security standards.
- Understanding of Generative AI and LLM-based solutions (e.g., chatbots, copilots, multimodal apps).
- Evaluate existing data architectures and recommend improvements.
- Research emerging technologies and integrate them into enterprise data strategies.
- Proven experience in data architecture and engineering leadership.
- Strong knowledge of ETL, SQL, programming, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
- Experience with big data, streaming services (Kafka), and cloud migration.
- Familiarity with MLOps/LLMOps, Generative AI, and LLMs is an asset.
- Telecom industry experience is a plus.
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and mentorship skills.
