Position Overview
We are seeking a highly organized, detail oriented and collaborative individual to join our dynamic team. The Web Services & Content Coordinator is a key contributor to the daily operation of the BCSC’s internal and external websites, providing publishing support and guidance to Commission staff. This position supports the implementation of best practices in content management, information architecture, usability, and web design.
Key Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities include:
Support the administration of BCSC’s website content management system (CMS)
Identify, document, troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise with content on BCSC websites and web applications
Create and publish content that adheres to BCSC website standards and review published content
Support staff who are publishing content to BCSC websites and using internal software programs
Assist in the development and maintenance of policies and procedures for content publishers and software users
Prepare specifications for content management databases and coordinate schema development (XML, metadata, etc.)
Support best practices for website design and usability
Provide support to project leaders and development staff on website projects
Publish social media content to BCSC corporate channels
Qualifications
Your qualifications include:
Post Secondary diploma or degree plus 1-3 years of relevant work experience, including experience administering CMS systems and publishing content in a legal or government environment, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
Superior communication skills, both oral and written
Working knowledge of Google Analytics, WordPress, SharePoint, Visio, Sitecore, Semrush, Hootsuite, and Hotjar
Experience administrating Survey Monkey software suite and working with Adobe Creative Suite applications
Strong understanding of web design principles, accessibility standards, and social media integration
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills
Proven technical proficiency, with the ability to achieve a high degree of accuracy and attend to details
Strong customer service skills with the ability to problem-solve and resolve conflicts effectively
HTML, SQL, CSS, and JavaScript proficiency are considered an asset

Salary Range
The salary range for this position is $57,150 (minimum) - $71,439 (midpoint) - $85,727 (maximum).
The starting salary for this position will be determined considering the successful candidate’s relevant experience and education, salaries of other employees in the same salary range, market conditions, and other relevant factors. Starting salaries are normally below the salary band midpoint.
