About your next Challenge as a Proposals Senior Specialist:
What will you do:
- As part of the proposal team, the role involves working closely with functional groups to develop optimized and cost effective solutions that meets customers requirement.
- Manage the proposal and bid schedule from bid/no bid decision until delivery of the proposal which entails presenting the solution and cost to senior leadership.
- Provide technical support to business development team (customer meetings, conferences, etc.)
- Design solutions for marine/comms/power business units;
- Design electrical and mechanical systems
- Prepare and perform test plans with customers.
Required Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- Minimum of 10 years of engineering experience
- Deployment experience in power simulators and marine trainers is an asset
- Demonstrated leadership in project engineering
- Able to deliver technical solutions as part of proposals and in engineering
- Able to interface with customers in order to deliver projects on time and on budget
- Bilingual (French and English). Proficient in English writing and presentation. The knowledge of the English language, other than the French language is necessary due to contractual requirements.
- Team-focused and result-oriented.
- Must be eligible for registration with the Controlled Goods Program;
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a government of Canada “Reliability” status and Level 2 (Secret) security clearance.
- Must be eligible to meet the requirements for U.S. International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
