Technology Access Centre for Aerospace and Manufacturing POSITION TYPE: Full-Time, Term Position Available (anticipated December 8, 2025 up to November 3, 2026) SALARY: $63,375 - $96,946 per annum*
  • The successful candidate with a Masters or PhD in a related field will receive an Educational Supplement of $2,850 or $5,700 per annum, respectively, pro-rated on an hourly basis.

Reporting to the Industry Liaison Manager - TACAM, Red River College Polytechnic is looking for an Instructor for Aerospace & Manufacturing Custom Training. Responsibilities include course development, classroom instruction, supervision and guidance of students, student evaluation, advising of students, maintenance of student records and other professional duties related to instruction. Examples of subject areas are composite part assembly, quality assurance and tooling development. The incumbent is also required to participate in department and College committees and assist in student orientation and graduation activities REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • A Diploma in Aerospace Manufacturing Technology; an equivalent combination of education and experience would be considered
  • Several years of experience in aerospace quality systems, tooling development and aerospace manufacturing process standards
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to use conflict resolution techniques to facilitate positive outcomes
  • Demonstrated leadership skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Ability to teach on campus and remotely
  • Demonstrated experience using Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work independently as well as in small to large group settings
  • Able to meet the Canadian Controlled Good security assessments criteria
  • Composite assembler experience
  • Experience building a respectful workplace culture that promotes diversity, learning and continuous improvement
ASSET QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience developing curriculum and instructing at a post-secondary level
  • Certificate in Teaching for Learning or Adult Education
CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT
  • Applicants must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • This position may be required to work evenings and/or weekends
  • This position may be required to work throughout the academic year including the summer months
  • Instructors are required to complete the Teaching for Learning (TFL) in Applied Education program or have previously completed the Certificate in Adult Education (CAE)
  • May be required to work at various RRC Polytech campuses
