Position Overview:
As our Supply Chain Coordinator, you will oversee procurement activities for small to mid-size proposals and projects. You will serve as the primary link between Supply Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality, while managing procurement schedules and representing Supply Management in proposal and project meetings. You will also lead kick-off meetings for new initiatives, monitor requisitions and purchase order progress, and expedite deliverables from other departments. In this role, you will support the Senior Supply Chain Coordinator as required, report to the Procurement Manager, work under the guidance of a Supply Chain Coordinator II, and collaborate closely with both internal and external stakeholders.

Your Day to Day as Supply Chain Coordinator:
- Coordinate procurement activities and proposal projects, including kickoff meetings and schedules.
- Serve as the primary point of contact between Supply Management, Project Management, Engineering, and Quality.
- Attend proposal and project meetings as the Supply Management representative.
- Apply knowledge of procurement processes, including SAP, and perform buying as needed.
- Monitor open requisitions and purchase orders, and expedite deliverables from other departments.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and assist with cost reduction/value analysis projects.
- Ensure compliance with external regulations, codes, and internal BWXT standards.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Engineering (preferred), or a three-year diploma in Supply Management or Business Administration.
- 4–8 years of procurement or project management experience, ideally in heavy manufacturing; 2–5 years in a procurement or technical role is a plus.
- Knowledge of nuclear products and quality standards is an asset.
- Strong supplier relationship, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency with business software and ability to work effectively in teams.

The base salary range for this position in Ontario at the start of employment is expected to be between $73,000 and $106,000 per year. However, the base salary offered is based on local job market factors and may vary further depending on factors specific to the selected job candidate, such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and other objective business considerations. Subject to these considerations, the total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, such as an annual cash incentive in addition to a full range of medical, retirement, and/or other benefits. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided at such time the selected job candidate receives an offer of employment.
